Myrtle
Mirto in Italian.
I popped out into the garden to do a quick blip and pick some lemons, while the wind blew and there was a gap between showers.
I had to hurry, so I picked a myrtle flower and a few berries.
The berries can be used to make a wonderful liquer.
I have done it once but it wasn't as good as the commercial stuff, which is unusual and gives many me doubts.
The lemons are for a friend we are meeting for lunch. There are so many of them, lemons, that is, all fattening and turning yellow at the same time, creating a lemon glut.
Soon I will be dumping lemons on friends, relatives etc., again and thinking up ways to make good use of them.
The Titch is playing an away match today. I hope it will be available in streaming so I can se my favourite number 6..... I just checked and I'll be able to watch it live at 14.30. We should be back from lunch by then.
