To be honest the River Stour, which runs close to the village but not actually through it, has flooded at some time for most of the seventeen years that we have lived here.

It does rise quite quickly and also lowers quickly too and low lying fields can often be seen under water. It has rained most of the day so things will probably get worse before they get better.

It's also been very windy for over twenty four hours but I think it's getting slightly less so. I think that most of you have probably had the same, or even worse, weather so I really do hope that you have been okay.
