(I've got three days of back-blips to catch up on)

We went to what should have been an Advent service at the Anglican Church, but they decided to have a Christingle service and the kids' Nativity play instead. It would have been fine if it wasn't so bad! Too much to say about it here but long story short, there was barely anything about the nativity apart from a few appropriate carols.

The service ended with everyone leaving the hall "singing" Silent Night". We went on to what turned out to be the tree lighting. I'm glad I took a couple of shots of the compound as where we were sat didn't give good views of whatever was going on at the front with the kids.

There was more than a little chat about what we witnessed today as we drove home.

I had an extremely productive morning - going out on my own whilst G prepared a roast chicken lunch. She needed PAXO stuffing, so I ran a few errands like getting a pair of jeans taken up, getting the car washed, checking the post box and of course, bringing home the PAXO stuffing.
