53 today

A few images from the UAE's celebration of its 53rd birthday. Not all photos in the collage were taken today. The ones with the flag and falcon were taken on Saturday in Wafi. We got to the Creek thinking there would be fireworks (as there often are) but found out they were not scheduled until tomorrow. (Argh). Unfortunately, the pictures I took at the Creek and the ones that G took when we drove on MBR Boulevard to see the lights, have too much glare and/or camera shake!

Besides that, we visited The Cellars in RAK in the morning (camel and the Zayed and Rashid sign - I love the font used) and stopped off at Festival City for lunch and a small shop in Carrefour. Overall, it's been a very relaxed (and expensive) day!

And I have to record that my channel hit 36,000 subscribers today, thanks to this video getting noticed. (It's my favourite Christmas album). :)))
