Wondered if I’d get tangled up in the communication problems on National Rail but i had s very smooth journey up to Edinburgh. The train was very busy but had secured a seatfrog upgrade to a calm first-class carriage. Arrived in Edinburgh to pouring rain so got a taxi to D’s, snd sat by her huge and beautiful christmas tree until she arrived and we had an evenings tv watching.
