International Volunteers Day

5th December marked International Volunteers Day and I thought it appropriate to feature two of our regular Parkrun volunteers, Liz and Ann, doing their thing in the rain ahead of Storm Darragh.  Thankfully, we were all packed up and away home before there was any sign of it arriving.

Ninety hardy souls turned out in the wet to run our four laps.  I should probably have stayed at home, but I was well wrapped up and I'm now having a restful afternoon watching my favourite Christmas movie of all time, 'Miracle on 34th Street'.
