It s beginning to look a lot….

Today started rather sad with the funeral of Richard’s mother. My mind started to drift back to 6 months ago, when I was sitting there front row, but I tried to focus on other things every time it started drifting.
Afterwards I went to a client and that took me back to the present quickly.

In the afternoon I decorated our frontdoor with the usual Christmas wreath. I made a small piece with fresh branches at the bottom, like previous years. Every time I do that I want to make more Christmas pieces but somehow I never do.
It was something my father did a lot in the old days. …I’m drifting again…don’t!

I’m now looking forward to next weeks trip to the Lake District! Packing and gathering stuff has started. I have packed boots, my tripod, raincoat and walking sticks and already my suitcase feels like 23 kilo.
