Wet

We were supposed to be going caching but the forecast was abysmal and heavy rain was expected from 10am so we cancelled it. The rain didn't arrive till lunchtime but we would have got caught in it and last night we had torrential rain so there would have been some pretty soggy areas. 
I would have got the bus back from town if I had remembered to take my brolly but I'd forgotten it so I took Terry up on his offer of a lift back. While waiting for him outside The Range I looked over towards the canal to see if the usual rubbish and shopping trolleys were in it (yes they were) and spotted a few tents behind the canal.
While I was waiting I noticed Johnny Vegas going into the store. 
It has chucked down ever since lunchtime and there are some flooded roads in our town (the usual places).
We are expecting some wicked weather from the storm that's rolling in this weekend with weather warnings of high winds and heavy rain - and we already have both before the storm is due!
I'm reading a book called The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods and so far I'm really enjoying it.
