Austrian Pine
A nice sunny start to the day. Partner is out to a bookmakers exhibition, called Reasons to be Cheerful, with one of her friends. My partner has a book being exhibited there. I would say I am being left to my own devices, except I am still working.
However I am walking around the park. The photograph shows the Austrian Pine in Camus Avenue (an not a Scots Pine as previously blipped, so I will need to amend that post). It has been nominated by Forestry Scotland as being one of the top 100 heritage trees in Scotland. It also has the status of being one of the best specimens of Austrian Pine in the UK.
It gets very dark in the afternoon. Rain appears about 3:30, so no long walk after work. As the rain does go off a wee bit, I go up to the local big wine shop, for beer.
