Pancake Tuesday

After the ice refroze, the pancake ice amalgamated into a mass. I wanted to emphasise the shapes and and intervening lines, and so contorted myself to get low enough to the ice.

Even then I was about a foot off the surface because of the rocks along the shore. The distortion created by tilting the lens down is evident in the reeds and far buildings.

I liked the curve of the ice going around to the reeds and the few frozen leaves in the foreground.
