Two Swans A Swimming

I made sure I was up early this morning, so I could fit in a decent walk before a bit more walk. I was out reasonably early, but I waited until it was daylight. It was incredibly mild.

Once home I grabbed breakfast, and then logged on. The thing we were waiting on yesterday was in my inbox, so a bit of urgent work was required. Thankfully it didn’t take too long.

A colleague agreed to pick something up in the afternoon, which meant I was free to get myself ready , as we were heading out to meet friends for a festive lunch.

Most of us travelled to our venue by bus. We were early, so enjoyed a drink, before we were taken to our table. We had a really lovely afternoon. Good food, good company, and lots of laughs. Later we headed to a nearby hotel for a drink, before catching the bus home.

We were home early enough for TT to FaceTime his mum, to re-watch the episode of Slow Horses we dozed through last night, and then gave a late call with TT. Can’t believe I am back to work tomorrow, I haven’t been away from it!

It was quite still and grey this morning when I walked by the river, but it got much brighter later in the day.
