Number Eleven
I had to work again today, and had agreed to log on at 10am. I had planned to go for a walk, but I didn’t get up early enough, so I only had time to walk down to the Farmers Market, join the big queue at the bakery stall, where I bought some bread and treats, and then walked home again. I had some toast, then rather reluctantly logged on.
A couple of colleagues were also working, and we had a very unproductive morning. At around 1:30, TT and I headed down to watch BB’s rugby match.
It was a local derby, and there was a relatively big crowd, compared to normal. The game was already underway when we got there, and we had missed BB scoring the first try of the match. It was a hard fought game, but BB’s team won in the end. That means they are through to the next round of the cup. TT and I headed home via the supermarket.
I got home to find that my colleagues hadn’t made much progress with anything, as we were still waiting for information from another team. I’m glad I went out to the rugby and didn’t sit around waiting. I sent a couple of emails trying to chivvy things along, but it was all in vain. We gave up at 5pm. I went out for a walk, and TT made a start on tea.
BB headed back to Glasgow as Ms R was in town. We enjoyed a very tasty curry and then started series 4 of Slow Horses. We both dozed off during the second episode.
This is BB on the rugby pitch this afternoon.
