I’d run out of sunflower seeds for the birds so intended to drive to the garden centre for it opening. That was before I looked out of the upstairs side window and saw ice patterns on the roofs of some cars. I wasn’t keen to deice car windows so had a morning indoors. I might go for the seeds tomorrow but the birds did get extra mixed seed and suet balls.

In the afternoon a short circular walk from home. The footpath was wetter than usual.
