A dry morning but the cloud base was very low. It was the birds that got me out this morning. After a day with no sunflower seeds I needed to restock.

After buying the seeds from the garden centre I was intending to drive the short distance to Waterhead but changed my mind because the car had been sluggish to start. I thought it might benefit from a longer drive so headed to Windermere and was pleased to find lots of parking spaces at Millerground. It’s then a short walk down to the shore.
