Sky Views

Last night, an ad popped up on G's Facebook with a special price (Dh 53) for a "Sky View Experience". It mentioned Burj Khalifa, so she booked us for the 10:30 AM slot today. It's the last day of the promo. I'm so glad we read more about the experience, as it was in a hotel we have not been to before.

We got there on time and even had free parking on the premises. We had a clear day, which is always a treat in this city. On Sunday, we had white fluffy clouds and a bluer sky, but we didn't know about this. Anyway, G and I both got lots of shots but only a few are blip-worthy.

We went on to the clinic for G to have her dressing changed and then home for lunch before meeting up with a colleague for coffee before she leaves Dubai for the holidays. And just like that, the long weekend is over and it's back to work tomorrow. *Sigh*.
