Sad Pompey Gnome

I don't think he has appeared on here for a while. I saw him this morning when I was feeding the birds and immediately thought Wide Wednesday Blue. Good to have him in reserve as I knew it was going to be a busy day. I noticed the raindrops made him look as though he had been crying. I hope that's not a bad omen for the rest of the season.

We've been to see Wicked Part I. It was a 1pm start so we decided to try for a brunch/lunch somewhere in Witney. Mrsfb suggested we try the M&S café as it was opposite the cinema but I held out for a Nero. We had very nice pigs in blankets ciabattas, well it is December now.

We enjoyed the film, mrsfb more than me. We both thought it was overlong. I liked the ending best and could have done without the first couple of hours. I may have dozed off a few times.

Historical Society AGM and quiz this evening. We are mainly going for the free drink. We are rubbish at the quiz.
