Dreamland

A trip to Margate. Well, Christmas is approaching and I’m sure I can pick up some boiled sweets for m’lady.
Little did I realise Tuesday & Wednesday aren’t really the days when shops open in seaside towns in winter. But whatdaheck, there’s still plenty to do, an excellent restaurant down on the ground floor and a couple of neat bars in the old town. Other thoughts? Blimey, there aren’t half some rough characters out on the streets. Nelson’s Navy could have made use of them. Now? Beyond rescue I fear. And that all pervasive seaside smell.. I can’t quite place it … Thames Water?
