The beast

With the kids home for lunch today and off this afternoon, I thought I'd try the new airfryer for a second time.

Often I'll do a pasta bolognaise bake, using the oven. Today I thought I'd try something different. Well slightly. I created the pasta sauce... tin of chopped tomatoes, red onion, beef, garlic, pepper & oregano, in a large saucepan.

In the airfryer, I cut some carrots into fairly chunky pieces. Added them to a plastic bag then put in a little olive oil. Gave it all a shake then emptied them into the airfryer. In 5 minute intervals at 200°C I roasted the carrots. About 10 mins in total. Every 5 mins you give it all a shake. Added some ginochi to the carrots (the sort you usually cook in pan). Cooked the whole lot for 15 minutes - taking the draw out every 5 for a shake.

Added the carrots and ginochi to the bolognaise sauce. Cooked it for on a low heat for around 5 mins together and served up.

Bobs yer uncle...
