I spoke too soon when I was chatting to the house sitter this morning and said it had rained but it was clearing.   As I drove further south it seemed I was driving into more of yesterday's rain, and it pretty much hasn't let up.  Decided to stop at Lake Ianthe this evening...a pleasant spot despite the rain, though looking out accross the lake it felt a bit like yesterday hence the title and duplicated treatment.


I understand that Nelson was baking in 28 degrees today :/  At least the house sitters are enjoying their holiday weather!  Meanwhile down here at Lake Ianthe I'm feeling really sorry for the chap in the tent..... he's emerged once in the 3 hours I've been here so far.   Looks like he's biking so if things don't change tomorrow he'll be in for a tough day ....... or another 24 hours inside his tiny 2m x 1.5m tent.  Forecast overnight not looking so nice either, though should be cleared by morning.   Fingers crossed.  As I was reminded today by the lady running the workshop I'm heading to.... be prepared for all weather's and temperatures......."Well, it is the West Coast".
