View from bed

After 4 hours sleep I woke to see the morning light shining on the high rise buildings in St Leonards. I did my nursing Training at Royal North Hospital and in those days the buildings were only a few levels high. Out the back were vacant lots where my friend kept her horse. If is now all developed and I don’t remember much that looks familiar.

After our exciting evening we had a quiet day. We are both feeling the humidity. It isn’t that hot but I feel terrible most of the time and have no energy. I needed a second shower at lunch time to cool off. I wandered over to the shops to buy milk and a few gifts for the family as we won’t see them at Christmas ( plus 2 have birthdays next week). We are going out for dinner in an hour then home on the train in the morning. I also called in to see my niece (isbi & IsbiJG’s daughter). We hadn’t caught up for a few years so was lovely having some quality time with her. Her twins, often blipped, were at daycare so I missed seeing them and O.
