Notes: Lilly Mae got me up 1230a to go outside. Woke around 5a again and couldn't go back to sleep. Very cold morning - so glad we got the horse blankets on last night ... initial phone temps said 21 feels-like 8 (yes eight degrees!). I did some things inside and then fed Lilly Mae and cats. Waited until a bit after 7a to head out to horses. Was quite cold from the back side of the stable but the front and down the hill (paddock & pasture) were not as bad in the sun. Feeding and cleanup went ok tho did have to come in once to warm up. Came in and had coffee, got online. Was supp to get info from Michelle Dion to create a pdf w/ fillable fields - touched base w/ her in the morning and she was working on it. I actually had a decent amount of the day to relax, even tried for a nap tho only rested for < 45 min. Watched some videos in the afternoon and warmed up some leftover filet and turkey ... while deciding simultaneously set up my mobile Starlink unit. Was pretty quick and easy tho did move it twice and the 3rd place seems to be the best. Also changed the password on the network I set up so took me a bit to get all that remedied. Chatted w/ Jo and Michelle a bit in 2 diff programs only using the Starlink connection - that was pretty cool. Headed out then 5p to bring in the horses. This time carried the halters w/ me and as I got close, Major took off at a run and Paint followed ... away from me and along the fence line but ran directly up and into the paddock - perfect!! I gave them some treats and cleaned up some poop where the gate latches and then headed back in. Online and around the house until feeding Lilly Mae and the cats and then heading out to do the nightly horse feeding. Went well and was pretty quick w/ all I'd done ahead of time. Shower then and watched shows - was waiting for Harley to come back in but got to be almost 1030p. Finally opened the door to the garage and she ran in (she'd been out w/ me for the horse feeding and must've gone back into garage w/ Lilly Mae before I finished). Again so tired!
