Not the best idea

It was not a good idea to spread all the red pieces out in the hope I could complete the edges . . .

. . . but it’s a painting I like, a puzzle I like, so I’m happy with the challenge. The shades of each colour are fascinating and trying to sort them out is interesting.

An intriguing puzzle on the go makes a day of washing, cleaning, sorting, packing (we’re travelling tomorrow) much more palatable.
