Mono Monday: Week 567 ...
... Rain/Grain.
I don't usually wish for rain but I was sort of hoping for some today! We had sunny skies instead!
I had an appointment this morning with an orthopedic doctor because I've been experiencing pain in my right (and only!) knee. He did some x-rays and I learned (not to any surprise) that I have arthritis. But he said all things considered my knee looks healthy. He has recommended a gel shot to relieve some of the pain ... it has to be ordered so I will return for it in about a week.
Richard went with me to my appointment as we wanted to go to Sam's Club afterward. And we followed that up with a walk at Louise Moore County Park.
I had taken with me on our walk some of the painted rocks that I did a while back. I often carry them with me in the hopes of leaving them for someone to find. But so far I've only left a few. I don't have the heart to part with most of them! As we were leaving I spied this low wooden fencing I thought would be perfect for the MM theme of "grain". I liked the contrast between the smooth painted rock and the wood grain of the fence.
Thanks to McCaviti for hosting Mono Monday this month.
In Extras you will find an early morning visitor to our yard ... a Cooper's Hawk.
