Tiny Tuesday

Still Life of Tiny Objects, interpreted on the Christmas theme: a shooting star (possibly in the east, depending which way you look), made of spices - star anise, cloves, allspice and peppercorns - arranged on a slice of white bread (before that is to be turned into breadcrumbs) for the bread sauce accompaniment to the turkey we hope to serve for the Christmas meal..

I have omitted spices, that I might put in the sauce because the straight piece of cinnamon stick did not fit the image, nor the piece of mace and the nutmeg was too big, so you get the basics to make a pretty picture. Now off to blitz the bread and pop it into the freezer to join the cooked chestnuts.
