There will be Pylons

The planning notices that have reduced to roadside trash are for the start of the process to construct pylons that will cut over our beautiful countryside and onwards across Suffolk to deliver electricity from the huge offshore wind farms to the rest of the country. I think and hope that we will be gone from this area before the construction work starts but it is very sad to think of the negative and destructive impact that the delivery of the ‘green energy’ will have on the delicate ecosystem it cuts across.

Meanwhile in Canary Wharf and beyond huge amounts of energy is wasted lighting empty buildings; powering AI to do frivolous things; facilitating cryptocurrency transactions and a million other pointless and wasteful things. It’s depressing.
