The Tempest In The Dog Bowl

We have a wonderful local tradition that's only in its 7th or 8th year but is well-loved. Shakespeare In Clark Park seems to gravitate to the comedies, but next year's show is to be one of the Henry plays. The producers were asking for local extras to be in a battle scene or two. They'll use about a hundred of us, they said.

This was the third of five performances of The Tempest, and about the fourth time I saw it done. I stayed to take some pictures but i don't like attending things like this alone, so I left. Later I found out that a good friend was there, but I did not see her.

The weather was just beautiful, the mood was happy and relaxed. All is well in my neighborhood.
