Clouds Again
I seem to be post a lot of pictures of the sky lately, but the clouds have beenn interesting. Today as we drove over to Kathy's we could almost see the air currents by the way they moved the clouds around. Just one row of the ones that looked like cauliflower would separate itself, spread out, wisping upward like smoke. This evening the heavens seemed to be on the move as the clouds began coming together and the whole mackerel sky formed a moving canopy above our heads.
The things I am trying not to think about, are starting to crowd out whatever else is usually rattling around up there, and causing a kind of amorphous anxiety. Which of course means that I am thinking about them. It reminds me of a yoga teacher who used to say as we were settling into savasana (rather perversely) I thought, 'Don't think of a black cat'. I suppose it was his way of illustrating how difficult it is to clear one's mind. One can't simply order it to calm down.
Looking at an ever changing sky helps....
