Female Pheasant ( Phasianus colchicus )

Back blipping, I had a college friend visiting and the evening when I normally would be putting up my blip was filled with reminiscences and merriment.  We have after all been friends for 58 years.

For a while now we have had a particularly dark coloured female Pheasant virtually living in the garden, she always seems to be there when you look out.  Clickychick caught her in the snow.

In the last few days we have had this more usual coloured female visiting as well.  They are both fairly nervous and tend to make a dash for the holly when they notice movement  so I was lucky to find her slowly walking away taking no notice of the movement in the window.
