It’s beginning to look…

Our post office is on main street and after mailing off a few packages I took a walk to check out the decorations. The public works guys were hanging holiday flags on the lampposts. The city’s tree was up but no lights yet. This little park area did have lights but it wasn’t quite dark enough to see them well. A woman who lives in an apartment on main street walked by while I was taking this photo. She told me she enjoys the holiday lights in this park best at 6am with a cup of coffee :) She added that she and her cat often look out the window to watch traffic going by. “There’s always something going on” she laughed. Lighting up a cigarette she then gave me a wave as she continued on her way. Over her shoulder she shouted “Happy Holidays!” Suddenly it started spitting snow • Peace & Love
