Free At Last

It’s December and that means deer hunting season is over for another year. I abhor hunting animals and don’t agree with any of the justifications, and I’ve heard them all! Hopefully the dear deer can relax, live their lives in relative peace, and stop by more frequently for snacks. Soon I’ll be regularly setting their buffet table :) • A few Elf duties are underway; a few items wrapped; the card list done; but much more to do! MrsP vacuumed the upstairs and has been busy cleaning. The holiday shower curtain is hung! • The songbirds and squirrels were busy at the feeders and sipping at the heated watering hole. This nuthatch is wondering when the old lady is going to fill his favorite feeder. Of course he didn’t mention it was filled this morning! • Peace & Love
