Painting of the sketch

First go at painting the scene I sketched up north in November. Pleased to have had time to paint from the sketch but will have to do it again.. not entirely happy with all of this one but onwards and up!
A hygienist trip this afternoon and all well there. A slightly over zealous assistant with the sucker caused me a bit of grief but otherwise out in one piece (slightly bruised soft skin under the tongue where she tried to hoover me up not once but twice causing me to yelp!)
Home now and having bought myself an advent candle today I am going to have a cup of tea and do some hand sewing while it burns down two days.
