Critters

Having spent last night in Lakes Entrance, (uninspiring) we set off quite early to visit Raymond Island, where we managed to see, in the wild, koalas, kangaroos, and a kookaburra. The koalas were hard to photograph so the blip is the best I could do.
Afterwards we drove on to Phillip Island, where we had a booking to see the Penguin Parade at sunset. No photos there as they are not allowed. There was a delay before we saw them because there was an incident involving a guest falling and needing an ambulance but the penguins were very sweet.
Afterwards we did a late night shop for cheese and biscuits which we ate in our room. The motel was fine except some people turned up late in the room next door and talked very loudly until about 5am.
