Further sights

Long drive today from Batemans Bay to Lakes Entrance, but we stopped en route to see Australia Rock (blipped) and the nearby seals.
The scenery was otherwise not enthralling but we listened to an audiobook which kept us entertained.
Lakes Entrance was apparently a holiday destination for some so we expected more from it but it didn’t impress. Seemed very tired and run down. I guess our mood was affected by the fact it was raining and a lot cooler (18 degrees). However we were given a good tip by the hotel owner so will be going to Raymond Island en route to Phillip Island tomorrow and hope to see some koalas.
