Forgot to Blip!

I thought I’d Blipped this last night :-/
We are not really church goers but we decided to go to the 1st Advent Service at St Mary’s in Long Preston, the next village. It was lovely with a really good choir. They sang one of of my favourite German carols - Es is ein rose entsprungen. Beautiful.
The chandelier in the church had real candles.
We then went to the Maypole for our tea but when we looked on the menu there was nothing vegan. The waitress went to speak to the landlady who came over. She said she was sure they could make us something. I asked if they had veggie sausages. ‘Hmmm, not sure, I’ll go and check’ she said.
Anyway, she came back triumphant as she found some in the freezer.
We had chips sausage and mushy peas! 
I hope they get their act together or they’ll lose business.
I put Christmas lights up in the front window. They worked perfectly when I tried them but once hung up not a glimmer! 
I think I have some more in the attic otherwise we’ll have to get new ones.
I put some others along the mantle piece and made my advent ring.
