Afro Caribbean Festival

Paisley was having an Afro Caribbean Festival. It looks like it might become an annual event. They gathered outside the West of Scotland University for a parade. There were several floats which then set off to Ferguslie Park. The parade was led by these two dancers and the music played by the various groups made you want to dance yourself.

At the park there were several different acts. There were singers, a young dance group that were very good, an African drum group, young Chinese dancers amongst others.
