Murmuration

We spent most of the day at the RSPB reserve at Ham Wall, staying to see the starling murmuration at about 3.30. We had an excellent sighting which lasted about half an hour. My photo in extra does not do it justice.There is a great example here of an American wind powered drainage pump. Little things please me, as well as the great white egret and the yellow browed warbler seen today. We ate at the George and Pilgrim tonight, a very ancient hotel in Glastonbury.
