Shades of yellow

The flowering pear in our garden is very late to drop this year, but in the last few days it has turned a lovely shade of yellow.  Am sure the leaves will soon be gone.

After a busy day at work, I went off to collect Rich from the train station.  He came into Gatwick and got a train to a more local station so I could pick him up.  Just coming back onto our drive, this chap was busy eating some bird seed that was on the ground. (see extra)
