Formidable

It just had to be Mrs Blackbird again. She is the most dominant of all the blackbirds, most of whom have now settled down without arguing. I am sure it is only she who chases others away - or tries to anyway. She is quite formidable. 

There are still plenty of apples left and, whenever I look as I am washing up, there are at least half a dozen blackbirds feeding - probably a lot more as some of them are hidden in the long grass. 

A quiet day as I managed to complete the two photo books before the deadline for the special offer. They were a bit slow uploading, I presume there are lots of other people doing the same - but they are gone. At the moment there is another Geography tuition session going on - great to see Maisie so involved, she so much wants to do well in her exams.
