When Basil met Filbert

Filbert is Leicester City Football Club's mascot. I'd just finished carol singing in the marketplace with the choir and asked Basil if he would pose. He didn't seem interested  although he is looking at the camera.

In the early afternoon we took our carols to Belton Church where they were hosting a vintage fair and providing tea and cake. The Extra photo shows the choir and musicians that followed us.

I was sad not to attend the Leicester Bach Choir performance in the evening, particularly as they were going to sing one of my favourite pieces, the Durufle Requiem, but it had been a busy day, we were both tired, and I don't like to push Len too far.
