I SPOTTED A DUCK

This is the Spotted Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna guttata), drake.   Clearly, it gets its name from its spotted side feathers.  Native to fresh-waters of Indonesia, New Guinea, Australia and the Philippines.  It's conservation status is "Critical" due to very low numbers.  This one lives in the zoo in Milwaukee.
