Back to await a kingfisher

Today's sunshine drew me back at lunchtime to admire the kingfisher at The Ocean which I blipped two days ago.

I did have to wait for a while then managed a few minutes of watching it sit and preen on a branch about twenty-five yards away. On a couple of occasions it flew down into the water and flew back up with a catch.

This is a bit stylised in order to bring out its features.It was so far away that it can otherwise hardly be seen in the frame. Cropping has its limitations, as you can see.
