Thank Goodness It’s Friday!

A very short Blip tonight as my day has been long and exhausting again.

I have a chest infection, was at the doctors this morning, didn’t sleep a wink last night. They were brilliant and got my antibiotics. I’ve got a barking cough. Fibro not happy…

I’ve done a small food shop, collected prescriptions, ran errands and pace walked over 12,000 steps. Feeling it tonight and will no doubt feel it more tomorrow but the fresh air helped my lungs.

May have overdone things but I have to get on with things myself. I hate relying on people.

My boiler broke down late yesterday afternoon. It’s been a while since that had happened. I felt like crying.

The gas engineer came out this afternoon and spent the best part of two hours trying to get to the bottom of the breakdown. 

He has managed to restore the hot water but not the central heating. He was incredibly patient with it.

He left me a fan heater and said he would get someone to ring me on Monday…

I had plans to go to a small music gig tonight at The Stove but need rest so reluctantly stayed home.

My extra is of me wearing a preloved faux fur coat to keep warm. Kept it on indoors too as felt freezing. 

Makeup is a blessing! I wish more people understood invisible illnesses. We spoonies mask more than people will ever know.
