Another Day, Another Butterfly!

This time it's a Ringlet. Taken on the sunken track behind our house. This one looks very fresh in the afternoon sunshine - its wings are still a little crumpled. According to my book, it's a species that has actually been on the increase over recent years. It was warm, and mostly sunny earlier, but the weather has broken now and it's raining quite heavily.
