Tuffy

When all else fails, one can never go wrong with a Tufted Titmouse.  They are ridiculously cute and always willing to be photographed as long as one is very quick.  Actually this little guy perched on this branch for several seconds which was more than I usually get.  

The day started out sunny but quickly became overcast with a few sputters of snow, making it a good day to run out and get our Christmas tree.  We always go to the same guy - he's not the cheapest, but his trees are always very fresh and he and his "guys" are always so helpful and nice.  An added bonus is that the place is only a couple of miles from where we live so we just put the tree in the back of the pickup and zipped home.  It is now sitting in our garage to let the branches drop before we cut the lower ones off and put it in the tree stand tomorrow.  My plan is to get the lights and hopefully the ornaments on it tomorrow.  The living room always feels so cozy and inviting with a sparkly Christmas tree in it.

It has otherwise been kind of a lazy day other than a quick trip into town to pick up a couple of things.  Tomorrow is going to be colder but sunny so we'll get Jax out for a walk then.
