Stepping Off Court, Aylesford
It was a beautiful morning but very cold and frosty so when I stepped out for my morning run I made sure to have plenty of layers on. Even so the temperature was a shock to the system and I only really warmed up a tiny bit on the last stretch back to my front door.
My brother's ankle was still pretty sore but he can now manage to walk a bit better so we had a slow meander down to the village pub for a drink and a spot of lunch. On the way back we had a wander around Ferry Fields which is our local park. Situated in one corner is the fenced basketball/football court and I loved the graphic nature of the lines and how the shadows and light were falling. As I lifted the camera above my head and used the live view screen to compose this man in black walked past, his timing could not have been more perfect. He added the extra element I was looking for.
