Cwestiwn o ddiogelwch

Cwestiwn o ddiogelwch ~ A question of security

“To be wild is not to be crazy or psychotic. True wildness is a love of nature, a delight in silence, a voice free to say spontaneous things, and an exuberant curiosity in the face of the unknown.”
― Robert Bly

Roeddwn i yn y pentref heddiw. Mae gen i ddosbarth Shibashi (Taiji Qigong Shibashi 太極氣功十八式) yno bob dydd Mercher. Mae hefyd yn gyfle i ymweld â'r siopau a'r Eglwys hefyd.

Rydw i wedi bod mewn cysylltiad gyda'r Rheithor o Eglwys Santes Fair, oherwydd hoffwn i ymweld â'r eglwys ac yn gweld i mewn. Yn anffodus rhaid cadw'r eglwys dan glo y rhan fwyaf o'r amser oherwydd fandaliaeth. Maen nhw'n agor ar gyfer gwasanaethau ddyddiau Sul a dyddiau Iau ac maen nhw'n groeso ymwelwyr ar ôl y gwasanaethau.

Mae'n drueni am y fandaliaeth. Dylai fod yn bosibl gadael eglwys ar agor i ymwelwyr. Efallai mai'r un bobl hyn yn gyfrifol am y cerrig beddau sydd wedi torri. Pwy? Pam? Mae'n ddirgelwch i mi.

Mae rhai mannau lle mae'n bosibl cadw Eglwysi ar agor ac ymddiried pobl. Mae'n arwydd o wareiddiad - fel gallu gadael wyau ar werth a 'blwch ymddiried' mewn lloches bws. Rydw i'n gobeithio un diwrnod bydd gwareiddiad yn dod i Eglwys Newydd.

I was in the village today. I have a Shibashi class (Taiji Qigong Shibashi 太極氣功十八式) there every Wednesday. It is also an opportunity to visit the shops and the Church as well.

I have been in contact with the Rector of Saint Mary's Church, because I would like to visit the church and see inside. Unfortunately the church has to be kept locked most of the time due to vandalism. They open for services on Sundays and Thursdays and they welcome visitors after the services.

It's a shame about the vandalism. It should be possible to leave a church open to visitors. These same people may be responsible for the broken headstones. Who? Why? It's a mystery to me.

There are some places where it is possible to keep Churches open and trust people. It's a sign of civilization - like being able to leave eggs for sale and a 'trust box' in a bus shelter. I hope one day civilization will come to Whitchurch.
