Venice reunion -

postponed.

We (5 ladies) had thought of having a bit of a get together today to watch a film and remember our trip to Venice back in April. For various good reasons we have decided to postpone this to the end of the summer after having two weddings and a trip to New Zealand that some ( not all) of us are involved in.

I had bought in these macaroons for the occasion as Yorkshirebred, who organised the trip, treat us to these when we indulged in tea at Florian's in St Marks Square. So we just had to eat some with our morning coffee in the garden.

It's such a hard life, we may have to eat the rest with our strawberries after the BBQ tea we are having for Alex. (He came home from the Moray Firth for a wedding yesterday and will be going back the day after his sister's wedding in August.)

Hope the rain holds off.
