Thinnings

How fresh are these? :)
Just thinning out the carrots and then carefully erecting barriers against the dreaded carrot-fly. Apparently they can smell a crushed carrot top from a couple of miles away, but can only fly about a foot off the ground, so that any barrier higher than that foxes them. Or such is the theory, we'll see....
