Ring piece

Up to the station to meet Meles off the train (Hooray!) I took this photo on Market Street, thinking I'd write up a piece on how this set of rings is all Scotland would get out of the Olympics...

Then we went to the Beard and Cardigan for a pint and started watching the opening ceremony and...I got converted. That was just mad and sometimes hilarious. When James Bond and Mrs Q "parachuted out of the helicopter" we just looked at each other with dropped jaws and astonished grins...
Well done to Boyle and all the volunteers. Top entertainment :)
