Computing the time

Having fixed the electrical gremlins in the torpedo I remembered that its computer battery had gone flat.  As luck would have it, past me had thoughtfully bought a spare one, and future me, who had entirely forgotten, only had to rummage in three places to find it.  But it shows just how little* I had been riding the machine to have noticed the computer (rightmost in the pic) was going flat.

Moreover, not since May this year had I taken any odometer readings across my bikes.  I usually try to write them down at the end of each month, but I rather think motorbikes had taken my attentions.  So here are all six computers that are in current use, and almost all of them appear to be pre-railway time!  Second from the right in the pic is the one that belongs to Mirabel the Green Bike, and the good news is that my repair of the cracked screen using helicopter tape seems to be keeping the rain out, although the liquid crystal has its own definition of "working".
